That’s a goodt question and I’ve never thought about this until now. Nothing’s better than the classics and no one greater than the Bard, so I have to say Romeo and Juliet. Just between us Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are a close second :). But there are so many incredible characters, and so many great books and movies, some of which I’ve read or seen, most of them I haven’t, that a choice almost feels unfair. If you like an answer from the more contemporary literature, and to be loyal to my preferred genre to read or write, I would say Richard and Kahlan. If you haven’t read Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth series, you should, because it’s great.(less)
