I have been told any book that captures you needs a good-guy and a bad-guy and the conflict between them should be revealed from the first pages. Although I do not necessarily agree with this opinion I do think there is something about the dichotomy that speaks to something inside us, that we are binary beings in our thinking: one and zero, black and white, good and bad.
I’ve also been told that there are no villains in my writings, which is not necessarily true, but there are certainly no heroes. I actually prefer anti-heroes if only because it breaks the monotony of boring good-guys and cartoonish bad-guys. What do you think?
