Are you working on a new story?

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Molly Mirren Who my great grandfather really was. No one ever knew anything about his family or where he came from.

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Molly Mirren Wow. That's a hard one. I'll go with the first couple that popped into my head: Leigh Strachan and S.T. Maitland from one of my all-time favorite romances, The Prince of Midnight by Laura Kinsale. I love them because they are both so lonely and flawed, yet perfect for each other. I love that he cracks through her cold, icy barriers with his warmth and humor, and she gives him a reason to be a hero again. They are both written so realistically, too. Just a brilliant book, IMHO. :)

Molly Mirren Thank you so much for reading it and for your question! As for future plans, I have a trilogy in the works about a man who has telekenetic abilities, which are way more of a curse than a gift for him. I am working on it every day and hope to have at least the first book out by next year.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Molly Mirren I'll brainstorm possible actions my characters might take or possible scenarios, even if they're silly. Usually something will pop up that works.

Molly Mirren The thrill and high I get from someone reading my work and liking it.

What are you currently working on?
Molly Mirren Right now, I'm just trying to do all the things necessary to get my first book out and learning the ins and outs of self-publishing.

How do you get inspired to write?
Molly Mirren Usually I get the seed of an idea tickling my brain until it grows into an idea that I can't stop thinking about. Then the characters themselves start banging on my skull, demanding to be let out until I give in and finally start writing their story.
