Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Molly Mirren Wow. That's a hard one. I'll go with the first couple that popped into my head: Leigh Strachan and S.T. Maitland from one of my all-time favorite romances, The Prince of Midnight by Laura Kinsale. I love them because they are both so lonely and flawed, yet perfect for each other. I love that he cracks through her cold, icy barriers with his warmth and humor, and she gives him a reason to be a hero again. They are both written so realistically, too. Just a brilliant book, IMHO. :)
