Tami Stackelhouse I believe that writer's block is simply your unconscious warning you that you're trying to write the wrong book. This happened to me as I was writing my book, Take Back Your Life. In the chapter 3 (about pain), I became completely blocked. Then I realized that I was trying to write someone else's book and not my own. I was getting bogged down in all of the science on pain. In reality, my clients come to me because they want that information in easy-to-understand analogies. So I took a deep breath, and wrote MY book -- the one without all of the science written out, but with analogies based on that science.
Tami Stackelhouse My book, Take Back Your Life, contains much of the information I used in my own fibromyalgia journey. It's the same information I use when coaching my clients and teaching my coaches in training.
