"Asking for and receiving help is not about being less capable. It's about using your limited energy for what matters most." - Tami Stackelhouse

If you've been living with fibromyalgia for some time, you can probably identify with remembering how different thing were before when you were the capable and dependable one who everyone relied on. Shifting from being the helper to being the one who nee

“The fatigue you feel with fibromyalgia goes way beyond just being tired. It’s as if your body is an old cell phone or battery that can only charge 10 percent but tells you it’s at 100 percent. You just don’t have normal energy levels, and what you do have runs out quickly.”
Tami Stackelhouse, Take Back Your Life: Find Hope and Freedom from Fibromyalgia Symptoms and Pain

“If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking.”
Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood

“It is never too late to be what you might have been.”
George Eliot

“If he be Mr. Hyde" he had thought, "I shall be Mr. Seek.”
Robert Louis Stevenson, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

“Poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese.”
G.K. Chesterton, Alarms and Discursions

“If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself.”
Albert Einstein
