Thanks so much for asking! 😊Playing in the Dark (Evan and Ben's novel) is releasing November 20, 2018. It's available for preorder here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GV5G8ZR

Great question! I do hope to have audiobooks made for the Glasgow Lads series eventually, but of course I want them to be the best possible quality. Given all the different accents--and, I'll admit, my rampant perfectionism ;-)--they would require a top-shelf audiobook reader, which I don't think I could afford just now.
I definitely plan to look into it again soon to see what options are available. Audiobooks are getting more and more popular, so hopefully one day we'll get to hear the Lads brought to life. Thanks for asking!

As a matter of fact, I'm working on the Playing for Keeps paperback right now! I just ordered the cover and am currently doing a thorough proofread to make sure it looks good in print. I'm hoping it'll be ready for sale by the end of August. If it does well, I'll have paperbacks made of the other two novels, Playing to Win and Playing With Fire.
Thanks for asking! :-)

You did not imagine it! :) In fact, I can finally officially report that Colin and Andrew's followup novella, Play Dead, will be released next Friday, March 24. Here's its Goodreads page:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
Their story ended up being longer and more complex than I expected (which ultimately meant a deeper, better book, so no real regrets here :-).
Also, 2016 was a rough year for me, with some physical and mental health issues and an unexpected family crisis (not that most crises are expected, but you know...). I'll be blogging about that here soon.
Anyway, I wanted to give an release-date estimate sooner, but I didn't want to make more promises I couldn't keep. Apologies for the wait, and I hope you enjoy Play Dead!

Oh yes oh yes oh yes! The next full-length novel in the series, tentatively titled Playing in the Dark, will feature Ben and Evan. I'm writing it now and hope to have it out in August or September (I originally said August, but PITD has a complex storyline requiring loads of research on a secret topic, so it's taking longer than expected).
Here's my favorite line so far, from the end of Ben & Evan's first date:
"This was not a goodnight kiss. This was a stay-with-me-and-I'll-show-you-what-else-this-mouth-can-do kiss."
Thanks for asking, and I'm glad you're enjoying the series! <3

Thank you--that's lovely to hear! I once lived in London myself many, many, many, many years ago.
I'm really happy to get this question and hear that there's interest in the women's stories. A few other readers have asked me this in emails. And the answer is a definitive YES. At some point (hopefully next year) I would like to give at least one of the Lasses their own stories, perhaps in a novella. Heather's tale as a trans woman would be particularly fascinating to explore. And Katie really deserves an HEA after what happened with her and Siobhan! ;)

Awww, thanks, Ariana! I'm so happy you're enjoying the Lads. For now they are keeping me well and truly busy--too busy to start another series. In addition to the recently released Playing With Fire, I have another novel and two short stories (or possibly novellas, depending how long they are ;-) planned for the Glasgow Lads in 2016.
I'm not an incredibly fast writer--in fact, this is a blistering pace for me and I'm already having a bit of a heart attack trying to keep up with the scheduled. My novels tend to be long and complex, with layers of subplots and lots of growth for both heroes. I want each book to be better than the last. So even if I *could* write faster, I'm not sure I *should*.
That said, I'd be open to doing a spinoff series at some point. A few weeks ago I was up late watching the Scottish curling team and getting some ideas...
Of course there's always the possibility of collaborating with another author, but I'd have to think very carefully about it to make sure the Lads come first.

Thanks, Amneris! I'm so thrilled to hear you're enjoying the Lads. And YES! Evan and Ben's novel is the next one, as a matter of fact--Playing in the Dark (tentative title) will be out mid-August. I've just started working on it and I think it's the most exciting one yet.
Also, in mid-May there'll be a followup short story for Colin & Andrew, tentatively titled Play Dead, then Liam & Robert's short story will follow in November. And more to come after that! :)

Hi Anna,
Yes, it will definitely be out by the 31st. For me to do a preorder on Amazon, I would have had to have the final version ready 11 days in advance, and it wasn't ready by the 20th. I'll be uploading it on the morning of the 30th (tomorrow!) to make sure it's available by the 31st. So it might even be available by Saturday night.

Hi Rick,
Thanks for asking! Currently yes, the Glasgow Lads books are only available from Amazon. I've found that many voracious readers of this genre (including myself) love to use the Kindle Unlimited subscription to borrow books rather than purchase them (especially with a new author). For my books to be available through KU, I need to publish exclusively through Amazon.
I do plan to eventually publish the series elsewhere, maybe next year. Until then you can read it using a free Kindle app on your phone or tablet or computer:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/digital/fio...
If I can help further, feel free to email me at avery@averycockburn.com. :)
