Gavin Magson Don't overcomplicate things. If you read every article ever written that advises on how to write you will have wasted valuable time when you could have been doing what you love. Just write, learn how you best work and follow that recipe. If all the experts say to only write on the third Wednesday of a month, but only if there is a full moon that night, it doesn't mean this will best suit you.
Make yourself targets. I chose 1,500 and 2,500 words per weekday as writing targets and found I always beat my lowest word count. If I passed 2,500 I rewarded myself (mostly with 20 minutes comedy episodes) but that is down to your preference.
Gavin Magson You make the rules. I chose Sci-Fi as a genre to write in mainly because I could create the universe my story was set within. I don't have to worry about keeping the story grounded, which makes the possibilities for it endless.
Gavin Magson The sequel to Ajax: Rebirth, which I am hoping will be out before the end of the year, as well as the beginnings of a fantasy series.
