My first book was inspired from the stories I tell about my mother and my life on the radio.. on WOMR and WFMR ..My second book in the works.. was inspired by the suggestion of a beloved editor of mine... who felt it was time for me to really tell the story of two scary and painful years in my young adulthood.. i'd only ever told snippets... it was time

everything inspires me.. i mostly write memoir.. and seem to need a good deal of time to sit back and see something in hind sight before i write about it.. very rarely do I write about things that just happened.. I write always with love in my heart.. that inspires me... feelings of love.. it can go with loss and sadness but still love... sounds corny.. but i've tried writing with hate and anger and all it does is give me gas

I just completed the first draft of my second memoir.. very different from anything I have ever written before .. will keep you posted. tentative title. "Escape from Kingston Avenue"

I do something I learned in the artist's way.. the morning pages, really helps me.. 3 pages first thing in the morning about nothing.. really empties the brain of crapolah then i love ripping those pages up and throwing them out.. so freeing. on to the good stuff!
