Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Scott Seeke I was first told the story of Uncle Bush by my wife's Grandfather, a Tennessee gentleman who worked at the funeral home that put on Bush's live funeral. I turned that into a fiction film called "Get Low," but I never stopped wondering about the real man and the real story. At last, I had built up enough credibility with my wife's skeptical family that they were willing to open doors, and I was finally able to learn the truth. What I found was a story of rejection and redemption so gripping that it practically wrote itself.
