Writing it at the moment, Exodus. Hoping to have it out early June!
There will also be a book 6 after that.

(view spoiler)[Too many examples of lazy writing, I usually let them go if minor, but this was a real corker. Miranda is supposed to be the Step Daughter of one of the baddies, but only 1.5 books later, she is PROMOTED to daughter, and direct quote from page 573 of 764 in "Neural Attack" "Miranda, who had inherited both his and her mother's DNA, probably possessed an even longer potential lifespan" Has this been pointed out? Yikes, never spotted that, and neither did any of my editors. Hmmm.... time to investigate. Thanks for pointing it out.

I'm deep in the woods with Colony Six Mars. It came about when I was writing a series document for the guys in Hollywood, (yes, that's still in play). I got an idea for the next book in the series, and it just wouldn't go away. So, I had to start writing it.
All going well, it should be out early August.

Hi Trevor, interesting question. I do like his style but I'm not sure it suits a fast-paced thriller. That said, when I was thinking about how to present these intelligent machines, my first thoughts were to use a clipped, terse style, but this, by it's very nature, lacked the empathy I wanted to imbue in them. So I went to the other extreme and had them conversing in a much more flowery style, not unlike Iain M. Banks.

Yes! It's written, the maps are done and now it's just going through the editing. Should be out in a week or two!!!

I don't really get writer's block. I work out my plot and character arcs before I start so I always know what I'm going to write. If I'm stuck for inspiration I will tend to start a conversation with my characters. They love any opportunity to start talking.

I was always a daydreamer. Being a writer lets me do this legitimately.

It's been swimming around my head ever since I came across the Mars One project. I kept thinking 'what if they actually did it?'
