Hi! That's magnificently lovely of you to say; honestly you never know if a book is any good until readers say something to that effect. It means a great deal to me, thank you.
October 15th was the original projected publish date. However, there were a series of unfortunate events and the initial pre-order upon which that date is based (here at Goodreads) was withdrawn. Then there were edits (late), revisions, edits, revisions... finally, the last round of edits is underway and then out it goes for public judgement; er... enjoyment. Goodreads is as much an archive as anything else, so their dates are somewhat immutable until the book is published, which should be in February. These are all copy/line edits, arguably the least daunting/crushing editorial process.
I'm excited to be done with the book and ready to start working on book three as well as another series.
