T.J. Clark Walking on the beach with my pup and her collection of sticks and coconuts helps me relax. In most cases, the best way to beat writer's block is to write, even if I throw away what I've written , the exercise of writing is fulfilling and a learning experience. T.J. Clark Inspiration for writing for me can be found in the tranquility of nature, or even by watching the nightly news. T.J. Clark First of all, write, then write and edit and do some prior planning of plots and characters. Let the words flow out of your mind and onto the page. With self-publishing, do your research and find what works for others, how it may work for you and source and find the affiliations you need to cross all the t's.
T.J. Clark I like the autonomy of being a writer most of all. The ability to make my own hours and strike while the iron is hot. Writing is a great expressive and creative outlet. It is exhilarating when a new idea for a plot or character comes to mind.
