Inspiration for writing for me can be found in the tranquility of nature, or even by watching the nightly news. I prefer a quiet space, clean desk and blank paper and pen at hand for plotting, and the phone off for writing. I think you have to find the right work-space, and the mind-space that comes with this inspires me to write.
