Have you visited or lived in Alaska as your presentation of the "town" of North Pole has changed my opinion of Alaska? As a New Yorker (just outside NYC), I have dealt with my share of cold and snow but As long as I have a good roof over my head, stocked pantry, access to the internet to connect to others and friendly neighbors to share my personal library with, I am fine.

Thank you for the note and question. I do live in Alaska and while the North Pole of my books is different from the actual town of North Pole, Alaska there are other towns that are very similar. Yes, there is cold and snow, but there is also internet, books store and people. You can choose to live where there isn't and a lot of people do. But many also choose to join or start small, lovely communities like my imaginary North Pole.

Noelle Fox There was no coffee in the house that morning. When I went to buy some, the car wouldn't start.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Noelle Fox I'd travel to Westerns from Game of Thrones. I'm fascinated by that world. Although once there I'd probably hide a lot because it's so violent. Then again, all fictional worlds have their issues. Wonderland? Oz? So pretty but fraught with pitfalls.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Noelle Fox I like to read books that are completely different from what I write, so I have a copy of Joe Hill's 20th Century Ghosts and Lisa Gardner's Right Behind You waiting for me.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Noelle Fox I was reading about some of the islands off the coast of Alaska and thought they would be the perfect place for an adorable town and resort. Stay tuned.
