I don't usually get blocked, rather I get stuck on solving an internal issue in the work. That generally just takes untangling it and working it out. There are times where I simply don't have anything in the tank left to give. Reading, watching movies, hanging on patios with friends, walks and bike rides all help. Mostly just time.

Profane Altars came out of a conversation with friend and fellow writer Charles Austin Muir. I was already trying my hand at Sword & Sorcery, but through that conversation I found the idea to invite some friends to do a small anthology on the theme (including Charles). Stoked how it turned out, too!
