Since Ethan was one of the first major characters I created, I will never say I'm done telling his story. I would love to make a part 3 or more in the future. For now, I'm trying to figure out how to tell more of his story while maintaining the type of genre I have started writing. There is a good possibility you will see another chapter in the McCormick series one day.

I don't have any set method of dealing with writers block, it mostly depends on the mood I'm in. Sometimes I will go for a nice walk, clear my head. Other times I will read a book or watch a movie. Then there are times where I will plain stop thinking about my writing and do something else entirely. I'll come back to it later and find that my head it clearer and I'm able to write again.

When I was in high school a teacher gave us an assisignment to write a short story. I wanted to write an action packed thriller about a cop and his sister. I endearingly titled it Miami Hostage. My teacher expressed her enthusiasm over the story and got me thinking about a career in writing. I went to work on a novel based on the characters from the short story. It took me longer than I had expected, but here we are.
