Rob Needham Knowing that something I created is out there being experienced by others. In a lot of ways it's the same as playing a prank - super satisfying when the teacher uses the eraser with chalk stuck in it.

Rob Needham This reverts back to my answer to how I get inspired in the first place. If I deprive my brain of external entertainment for long enough, it will start inventing on its own most of the time. Seldom does this work while I'm otherwise mentally engaged, and being an absolute glutton for stimuli, the first challenge is to deprive myself of any external distractions for a long period. A common example for me might be going for a long run without wearing headphones. It has served well numerous times, but oh boy is it painful. But then, a fruit must be squeezed before it will give up the juice.
