Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Michael Ferrara I served as an Air Force Officer in Ubon, Thailand from November of 1971 until November 1972 - basically the last year of the Vietnam War. Our mission was interdict the Ho Chi Minh trail and support CIA combat operations in Laos. That experience plus my travels throughout Southeast Asia allowed me to conjure up the fictional characters that operate within the historical context of that time frame.

What are you currently working on?
Michael Ferrara Currently I am considering three different stories for my next book. One that is a follow-on to The Land of the Million Elephants. A second that is a Wall Street novel regarding the financial crisis of 2008. And a third story that deals with love and redemption for an over-the-hill PGA Tour golf professional. Any recommendations?
