For my modern day storyline my inspiration comes from listening people, observing everyday life and when something moves me, or more often upsets me, I feel a need to respond. I use my writing to address the issues (personal, political, moral, etc.) that interest me.
The historical plot is inspired by a certain specific artifact or locality. My imagination simply starts creating pictures and stories on its own when I visit historical exhibitions, castles or battlefields.
