I was looking for a creative outlet that would get me out of the hyper-analytical headspace that dominates my job running a venture-backed technology company. One of the earliest scenes in Landfall (what is now Chapter Two) had been bouncing around in my head for a while and I decided to stake a stab at expanding it. A couple of months later I had sketched out the overall world and a five-book arc and then I was off to the races.

Right now I am working on marketing the first two volumes of The Ship Series. Landfall and Revolution were a huge part of my life during 2014 and 2015 and it has been a blast to finally share them with the world at large. The remaining three books in the series are sketched out and I look forward to starting work on book #3 in early 2016!
