Ella Clem That is a hard question to answer. My answer would be; where do we go after leaving this earth? Our souls travel to heaven, leaving our worn out bodies here on earth. Do we start another life with our love ones who are up in heaven with us? What would life be like up above?
Ella Clem Mother Nature inspires me. The birds and deer out in our woods are interesting and fun at times to watch the way they interact with each other. In some ways they are like us, they have families, and they have group of other birds or deer that they hang out with. Some male birds during mating season will feed the female that they are courting. It is the doe that picks what buck she wants to mate with for the season. This is just a few of the ways the birds and deer are like us.
Ella Clem In time I would like to put out a picture book, using my pictures of birds that I have taken over many years. Maybe put a cute saying, or story with each picture or a little information about the bird in the picture.
Ella Clem My advice for aspiring writers is to listen to your heart, if writing is something that you really want to do, then give it a try. You never know if you can be a writer until you put everything you have into writing a book. It does take time to write a book. I spent part of a year writing my first book and only book so far, “Whitetail Deer Family”. Think about what story you want to write about. Sit down and get started typing and see what story shows up in your mind, could it be a love story or one about animals, etc.
I never thought that I would be a writer, I’m a photographer. I had many people to tell over the years that I need to put out a children’s book using my pictures of the whitetail deer family. I decided last year that I would give writing a story a try. I wrote about what I have learned about the deer family over the years. My pictures of the deer are what helped me to write their story. My book has two texts, one story text at the top of the page, and then a picture of deer and at the bottom of the page is information about the deer. The book tells a story and it is also an educational book about the deer and how they live. Wishing for new writers all the best, and good luck with writing .It can be fun at times.
Ella Clem The best thing about being a writer is that I get to share with other people what I have learned over the years about the deer family. Besides having story lines with the deer pictures, it also has information about the deer.My hope is that when someone reads my book they will come away with a better understanding about the deer family.
Ella Clem When I'm writing and get to place that I don't know what to say next, I will stop writing and take a break. Writing my first book, I took many breaks, grin.
Looking at a picture of a deer that I'm writing a few story lines for, and some information about that deer helps me to think about what I want to say on that page. I have 52 pages of pictures of deer in my book, Whitetail Deer Family.
Ella Clem I'm a wildlife photographer, mostly of deer and birds, over the years I have had many people to tell me that I need to put out a book using my pictures to tell a story. Last year I started my book about the deer family. My husband and I live in a log cabin out in the woods in Kentucky. Over the years we have watched the deer in our woods, the way they communicate with each other and how loving they are to their loved ones. I wanted to share with other people what I have learned about the deer family, in many ways they are like us. I would look at the picture of a deer; study it, and think, what is this picture telling me. One picture at a time is how this book came to be.
