Christopher Alan Plain Hi Holly.

Its a Greek-type pronunciation ideally.

Prah-Skih-Dus

Thanks! He's my favorite character in this book.

Christopher Alan Plain Since I am presently working on "Titan" as a stand alone, I will say, it is an idea that came to me the first time I read about the geology and atmospheric dynamics of Saturn's moon Titan. The main two characters (Protag/Antag) both came to me instantly, with the details of the story filling in over about two years of research, notes, and brainstorming. I would humbly refer to the structure as a "Hearts of Darkness" in space.
Christopher Alan Plain Like many people, I think of things I wish were on TV, in the movies, or available in books. If I have a cool idea, and real characters and their histories grow out of those concepts, then I start to make notes. Soon, I have a full story outline, and then the details, twists, and sometimes even other characters come to light during the writing. Or I watch my wife play with the cat, and write books about it.
Christopher Alan Plain I have three projects going at once. One is the continuation of my inaugural epic fantasy series, "The Heirloom Ores". Book one, Whispers of Fate, just went for sale in November of 2015. Book 2, Of Bonds and Betrayals, is being edited now (January 2016) with a planned release in March. Book 2 should follow in October. I am currently also writing a stand alone Sci Fi drama called "Titan", and a mystery/adventure novel called "Monks of Alexandria." Both should be released in 2017.
Christopher Alan Plain Write. Whenever you can, write. Skip shows you love, and phone calls that can wait, and write. Seriously. I had a multiple Emmy award winning producer once tell me early in my stand up comedy career. "If you want to do comedy, then do it all the time, everyday, obsessively, and someone will pay you for it sooner or later." It woirked for stand uop, and I'm betting it will work for writing.
Christopher Alan Plain I think everybody has great ideas, all of the time. i have people tell me the best thoughts or dreams that they think would make good movies or books. Surprisingly, I often agree. As a writer, i get the satisfaction of seeing my own unique ideas come to a full story.
Christopher Alan Plain Eating junk food. Or napping. Or complaining on the phone. Or yelling loudly. Or loud? I'm not sure which one it is, which is why I have an editor.
