I started out and first learned how to write doing Stand Up comedy as a student at UCLA in the 1990s. I soon wrote sketch comedy for many acclaimed live comedy, sketch, and improv theaters in LA.

I even wrote and sold some unproduced TV episodes, as well as a couple of screenplays along the way. Alas, it wasn't until I began trying my hand at novels that I knew I had found my home.

Words flow easier. Characters fill out clearer, and ideas come together more naturally.

I was always lucky to have people tell me they love my work in other writing fields, but writing books is just, well,...right.
