G.I. Lewis I've wanted to write a book about a Police officer working in the 1840's in Merthyr Tydfil for a long time. What I realised though is that I was not in a position to do all the research that was needed to go with that. Then reading the work of Andrea Camilleri and watching Blue Bloods gave me the idea of family and history. That allowed me to discover Angharad and by using a diary the Police officer from the 1840's was also able to come to life without doing huge amounts of research.
G.I. Lewis The next book in the series. We get to find out more about the world of Angharad Jones and Thomas and of course the town of Merthyr Tydfil will continue to feature heavily.
G.I. Lewis I don't count myself as a writer at present. For me I am just a person who likes telling stories and this is simply the first one that I have published.
G.I. Lewis I find that the answer is to just keep writing. If I stress about writer's block then it results in me spending days not making any progress. Sometimes you just need to sit down and write the first thing that comes into your head.
