G I Lewis was born in Merthyr Tydfil and taken away by the need for work. He is constantly seeking the moment when he will finally be allowed to return to the town of his birth. Now living just outside Reading, Berkshire with his family he was inspired to finally write a book after developing the concept of Angharad Jones and family. His first book, the Ghosts of China, introduces the character of Angharad and her grandfather as they investigate three seemingly unconnected deaths that take place in Merthyr Tydfil over one weekend.
