Tina Ellery I love this question! The first thing would say is to write. I started writing, literally, pen on yellow legal pads in Feb of 2013. My grammar sucks more than a thirsty runner on a hot day. I didn't know a darn thing about writing but I had the desire. If you have a story waiting to get out of your head start typing or scribbling. Take some classes, join a writers group in your area, let someone critique your work, (this is scary but you can do it) and most of all just write. If all you do is think about writing you are not writing.
Tina Ellery I choose to believe what Janet Evanovich says. I don't believe in writers block. I can always write something. It might be inane drivel. It might be burned or shredded into tiny pieces like my broken heart after someone tells me it utter rubbish but I don't get writers block. The End!
Tina Ellery I'm working on my first full-length book called Greed & Jealousy. It's my baby, the one I've had in my head forever and had to get out in fear of being carted off to Justice (the girls clothing store) because that's my personal crazy place.

It's the mad tale (pun intended) of Tova, a jewelry artist and the decisions she has to make when it comes to her marriage. The darn thing is in collapse. She hasn't done the horizontal mambo in so long she fears the lust she's feeling for the guy she met, Neil, is based on her lack of action. But of course, that's gonna change.

Because I'm gonna make her choose. I also gonna put her through all sorts of crazy making. I love being a writer!
Tina Ellery A fellow writer asked me to write a short story. I'd never written one (I was in for a shock), it was much harder than I thought. Anyways The idea came from trips to Grand Marais and the Gunflint Trail. My husband and I own 20 acres in the woods. No lie. THE WOODS. We walk all of our gear, including water and we we get to our campsite we collapse from exahastion.
