The first thing would say is to write. I started writing, literally, pen on yellow legal pads in Feb of 2013. My grammar sucks more than a thirsty runner on a hot day. I didn't know a darn thing about writing but I had the desire. If you have a story waiting to get out of your head start typing or scribbling. Take some classes, join a writers group in your area, let someone critique your work, (this is scary but you can do it) and most of all just write. If all you do is think about writing you are not writing.(less)
