So many inspirations, where do I start? I love comic books and graphic novels, so I would have to say that is definitely an inspiration. Plus, I totally love shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, and generally most horror movies. Everything I write has a strong female lead, and that's probably why I love just about everything that Joss Whedon does. I find that once I get that first seed of an idea, I let it build and grow until it has a real beginning and an end. I also incorporate a lot of music and create playlists for my stories, and I listen to them as I'm writing.

Always write. Write everyday. Even if you have to write the sentence "I don't know what to write today", just do it. Keep going, no matter how hard it seems.

I have finished the revisions for Book 2 (Titled "Daemon") and am now working on the revisions for Book 3.

It was December a few years ago and I had just sat down in a theater to watch a movie, some horror movie that I don't even recall what it was. The opening trailers were about to start, but being this close to Christmas, the ads for St. Jude's Children's Hospital started. I saw those kids, some of them teenagers, going through cancer treatments and I began to formulate the idea that one of those kids could be a hero. Each of them had seen far more than most by that age, and if they were to face the paranormal it would probably be a welcomed challenge. And that is how Angel Blade started.
