How do you get inspired to write?

Carrie Merrill So many inspirations, where do I start? I love comic books and graphic novels, so I would have to say that is definitely an inspiration. Plus, I totally love shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, and generally most horror movies. Everything I write has a strong female lead, and that's probably why I love just about everything that Joss Whedon does. I find that once I get that first seed of an idea, I let it build and grow until it has a real beginning and an end. I also incorporate a lot of music and create playlists for my stories, and I listen to them as I'm writing.
