Gas Money is a collection of events that shaped my life coupled with a love of storytelling. The impetus for recording them came from passing along a story to my mom and she responded with, "That would be a good story, you should write it down." I paid her no mind. The next day, I repeated the same story to my co-worker, Molly. She said, "If you write a story nearly as well as you tell one, you should write a book!" So that was how my book started!

Go with your gut! Don't listen to the voices in your head telling you that you can't do it. Put your heart into it and push forward with whatever your story may be. Surround yourself with people that will provide constructive feedback. Anything that you create make sure it looks great and last, but not least, find a great editor!
