Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Troy Lewis Gas Money is a collection of events that shaped my life coupled with a love of storytelling. The impetus for recording them came from passing along a story to my mom and she responded with, "That would be a good story, you should write it down." I paid her no mind. The next day, I repeated the same story to my co-worker, Molly. She said, "If you write a story nearly as well as you tell one, you should write a book!" So that was how my book started!
