I was working on the first book, The Time Traveler's Revenge for the longest time. I believe about seven years. Anyways, I worked on the entire series idea in that time. A total of 12 books. This idea came to me while I was touring San Francisco and I stumbled into the cutest and quaintest bookstore.

I normally go out to the local sushi place of a coffee shop and people watch for a few hours and just see how people normally interact. Once I people watch for a little while, I normally have the inspiration strike me with something stupid. Works like a charm for some discovery writers.
