Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Catherine Parish I was working on the first book, The Time Traveler's Revenge for the longest time. I believe about seven years. Anyways, I worked on the entire series idea in that time. A total of 12 books. This idea came to me while I was touring San Francisco and I stumbled into the cutest and quaintest bookstore.
