Amy Poeppel Hi Holly, The Sweet Spot is set *almost* entirely in New York City. There is a character named Felicity who is from England - and the book opens with her walking through the neighborhood of Greenwich Village in New York. There is a scene later in the book that takes place in Los Angeles and another in Mexico. Otherwise, the book is set almost entirely in or around the brownstone which is located near Washington Square Park… which incidentally is where I live in NYC :)
Amy Poeppel Hi Catherine, Thank you so much for getting in touch! And thanks for reading Musical Chairs! We're shopping it around, but so so far, we haven't gotten any interest. My second book Limelight is being considered at the moment ... Fingers crossed!!

Amy Poeppel Thank you, Paula!! You are so kind, and I really appreciate your patience! I've sent your mailing address to the publisher, and they will be sending you a book. Keep me posted - if it doesn't arrive in the next couple of weeks, please let me know!! xoxo Amy
Amy Poeppel Hi Paula, Congrats on winning Musical Chairs! And I'm sorry you haven't received your copy yet. Can you give me your mailing address, and I'll contact the publisher? (Feel free to message or email me if you'd rather - amy.poeppel@gmail.com)

All the best,

Amy Poeppel Hi Debbie! Limelight was published by Simon and Schuster/Emily Bestler Books. I am currently working on book club questions! I would be happy to email them to you! Or you will be able to find them posted on my website in just a couple of weeks. Thanks so much!
Amy Poeppel Thank you!! I, too, am a total theater and book nerd - two of my favorite things! Writing my book Limelight was my chance to throw myself into the behind-the-scenes world of Broadway, and I loved every minute. I go to see plays whenever I get the chance, and while I was writing Limelight, I met with actors and producers to get the inside scoop. (Also, back in ancient times when I was in my twenties, I did a little acting, and those experiences were helpful, too.) I also spoke with a few personal assistants and found their stories to be fascinating. Thanks for asking!!
