Wendy Coles-Littlepage Hi Lisa,
I just saw this message from you - I must have missed it last time I was here. I'm pretty good - I had an awful head cold that has been going around, and only just starting to feel back to normal. I'm still on the hunt for an agent, which I am learning is an endless uphill battle. But I continue to work on my second book, and when I finish it, I'll put it up as an ebook like I did the first one.

Thanks for your good wishes - hope you have a good holiday, too!
Wendy
Wendy Coles-Littlepage This is a really good question! Most of my ideas for writing projects come from my rather fecund imagination/daydreams. I began writing 'Disfigured' because the story I was spinning to myself in my head was getting too involved to keep straight! I was having such fun writing about my heroine, Sylvie, and all the trouble she gets herself into in her pursuit of Erik, the Phantom. Another way I generate ideas is to look at my characters and go, "Hmm, what if..." and just see where it takes them. That was my approach to an extent with Book Two in the Disfigured Series, which I'm writing now. Same characters, different problems!
Wendy Coles-Littlepage I am currently engrossed in research for the second book in my series, the Disfigured Series. I know that is a weird name, but one of the characters in my series is Erik, AKA the Phantom of the Opera. Disfigured is how I describe him. I am researching the Franco-Prussian War and its aftermath, especially the political climate at the time. Needless to say, Erik will become involved in some way. Some way that particularly suits his...er...skill set if you will. Stay tuned!
