Lia Patterson Hi Rachel,
thanks so much for your kind words, I'm really pleased to hear you enjoyed my books! At the moment I don't intend to write another novel set in the world of Wind Weaver, but you never know. I wouldn't mind finding out what Gero and her friends get up to once they're grown.

Instead I've currently got an idea for a story involving shapeshifters (in a new world), but I'm not sure when I'll get round to it. Real life keeps me rather busy, I'm afraid.

Lia Patterson Hi Siana,
I'm so pleased to hear you're enjoying Elephant Thief, thanks for letting me know! As for your question, Daughter of Wolves takes place two years after the events of Bride to the Sun (Kiarash's brother Zand is a very minor character in Bride to the Sun, but that's the only connection).

I was actually wondering if the children of the two couples might meet at some point, but at the moment I'm writing in a completely different world, so I don't know if it will ever come to that.

Thanks for reading!

Lia Patterson Thank you! I’m so pleased to hear you enjoyed the book! At the moment I’m not planning a sequel, though I have a few vague ideas for possible further adventures for Shay and Medyr in his homeland.
However, there will definitely be another book set in the same world, just some centuries earlier (involving a stolen elephant – don’t ask me how the muse came up with that idea!) and possibly some short stories.
Thanks for reading!
Lia Patterson My current story involves a wind mage, a veiled man who keeps secrets, the attraction between them and a sailing ship. Which is why I’m currently rereading the whole Jack Aubrey/Stephen Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian, as it puts me in the right mood for writing.

The world has a Greek flavour, so is rather different from that of ‘Bride to the Sun’, but it’s been fun to invent a whole new magic system, several countries and their history. And of course I love to draw maps!
Lia Patterson Hi Laura,
how nice to find somebody I know from Middle Earth over here! Thank you for your kind words and enjoy 'On the Wings of the Storm' - one of my own favourites too.

Cheers
Lia
