Actually this is a great question! There is some family lore that I think would be a great plot for a book. Apparently, my great grandfather “kidnapped” my grandfather and took him away to raise far from his mother. My great grandpa was loved by his grandparents, so I don’t think he was a malicious figure. I would love to explore the story and motivations of such an act.

Kathleen Kelly and Joe Fox. Sound familiar? They're Nora Ephron's modern equivalent of Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy. In both You've Got Mail and Pride and Prejudice, the attraction is beyond physical. There is a chemistry between both of the couples that evolves from a respect of the other's cleverness. In both stories, the characters grow as their destined lovers uncover the others' flaws or prejudices. I could watch Mail and read P&P over and over again and never become tired of the couples' dialogue.

The spirit of "Def Leppard" is taken from actual events of my life. Hopefully the theme resonates with those who look back on their life and question whether they made the right choices. It's really about living without regret and understanding you have the power to be the conductor of your life.
