Kasey Roper I've been dying to write a superhero story for about two or three years now, and after seeing a set of actresses that really hit on the vibe I was looking for, I just knew I had to get started right away. So hopefully, if I can manage to buckle down, by the holidays there will be four new female superheroes in the world. I am very excited to introduce them, and I want nothing more than to give myself and others new people to look up to!!
Kasey Roper Usually from whatever sparks that little light in my gut, giving me a good vibe. I live my life based on good or bad vibes, and if something really lights up my radar, I automatically take notice. So I can get inspiration from people's features, music, scenery, tv shows, and films. Me being a visual writer helps as well, because once I feel that vibe, I imagine what it would look like on screen. I imagine how a certain sound would look as a character, or how the way the sun shining would look as it filter through an empty and dusty house, and in said house, what kind of character lives there.

So, to not get any longer winded, I genuinely can write at least a small bit about anything, as long as it vibes well with me.
Kasey Roper I wish I had advice to give! Writing has always been something I've enjoyed, but I'm only just learning how to do it to the best of my ability. So my advice would be to believe in yourself, and definitely don't quit. I've given up multiple times, and never felt better for it. But by finishing even just one thing, you'll feel this drive to continue. To always feel that burst of joy. So if you're a writer, make sure to always try and write. Do your best to learn about the craft, but above all, write what you feel you need to create.
Kasey Roper Being able to take the various worlds and characters inside my head, and make them come to life. I didn't start writing until I was around eleven or twelve years old, but I think I've always been a storyteller. I've wanted to act since I was a child, and through that came writing. So while it's difficult at times to push passed writers block, I can't imagine doing anything else. I hope I never have to.
Kasey Roper I am currently working on three different stories. One is a paranormal story with fantasy elements, about a an eighteen year old girl learning that she is half demon and half angel.

The second is a coming-of-age type romance novelette (thus far), about a young woman falling in love for the first time, with someone she never expected to fall for.

As for the third, it is a fantasy story, passed down from my great grandmother. It is about a lost princess, of a world that is facing destruction. My Gg initially wrote as a children's book, which I used to read everyday when I was younger, before she gave it to me to do as I please. I plan to keep the base of the story as she began it twenty-two years ago, all the while giving it life from my perspective. Hopefully she will have liked it.
Kasey Roper I usually don't, which results in weeks of not writing anything, unfortunately. My newest goal, however, is to try and be more productive through it. If one idea is escaping me, I will go to a different story, seeing as I have so many I could be working on.
