Another novella that will have five linked stories, linked by the female protagonists. It takes place in Israel, England, Italy and the U.S. It features the lives of three tough and sometimes conniving women.

If things are going slowly I get out my collection of postcards and photos, pick out a few and describe what is happening or has just happened to land the people in the photo were they are. Sometimes its only worth a couple hundred words, but then I go to the next one. After a while some creative juices may start to flow.

Two things went into "La Ronde." I saw the Max Ophuls 1952 movie of the same name and liked the structure where each scene has two characters and one of the characters moves to the next scene to be joined by a new character. For example, scene one in the movie is a prostitute (Simone Signoret) and a soldier; scene two is the soldier and his girl friend. The second element is the child's game of telephone where information becomes distorted as it is passed from person to person.
