Just finished Grey Lore, is there going to be another book set in this world?
Jean Knight Pace That's it for our Dogs and Wolves series. But don't worry! We're working on a new series. The first book is set in the White House. There's mystery, history, a few potential ghosts, and a little sci fi shazam. Best--Jean

This isn't a question, but I want to thank you and Jacob Kennedy for writing Grey Stone. Two days ago I was really sick and felt awful, but when I was reading Grey Stone I forgot how I felt for enough time to enjoy the story. So thank you so much. Also thank you, because Grey Stone has inspired me to continue pursuing my writing dreams. ?

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Jean Knight Pace Hmmm. What a question. And my answer is going to sound super lame from a writer of fantasy, but the truth is that I'm pretty charmed by this world, or at least part of it. So my answer is that I'll take rural Virginia minus the bugs and poison ivy, plus some decent cell phone service--see that is a fantasy world after all.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Jean Knight Pace The magic that happens as you puzzle out story, as you meet new characters, as you feel new feelings--or rather age-old feelings, but in ways that are new to you.

Jean Knight Pace Write. That is all. Write.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Jean Knight Pace I write. Or I take a walk. Or I clean my house (which has usually been sorely neglected when I'm feeling inspired and writing a lot).

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Jean Knight Pace The basis of it came from my co-writer, Jake. Then, together, we hammered out the rest of the details, characters, and plot.

How do you get inspired to write?
Jean Knight Pace I just write. The inspiration comes as I continue setting pen to paper.

What are you currently working on?
Jean Knight Pace I'm working on the companion book to Grey Stone. It's a book set in a current time in our very own "normal" world, except that abnormal things seem to keep happening.
