Before you know it, inspiration will take over and you'll be excited to start up with your story again. Don't feel pressured to put words down. Let the story flow through you seamlessly.

If you have a story in mind, get it down on your computer, laptop, etc. and spend a few hours each day if you can and slowly, but surely develop your story line and your characters. If there are some days you can't write, don't worry about. Writing is not a sprint, its a marathon. In the end, you'll be glad you took your time.

Drew Alan Wathey I've played a lot of sports and in athletics you try and get in a "zone." Such is the same with writing. You adopt a working environment where you can be transported within your novel which helps you with character development, plot lines, etc.
Drew Alan Wathey I actually dreamt of my story seven years ago and amazingly enough, remembered all the details of the dream!
