K.N. Johnson I attended meet-and-greet events at places like The Hannah House in Indianapolis as well as Poasttown Elementary School in Ohio. While everyone appreciated my short fiction, they wanted to hear more about what I’d experienced at ghost investigations and on legend trips. This inspired me to collect stories from my experiences for my next book.
K.N. Johnson Usually, I take a long walk or organize my house. Other times, I like to wander around the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the IMA gardens, or a giant place called Midland Antiques. Sometimes, I read a book and am suddenly inspired by a plotting device that I hadn't considered for my story. By paying attention to the details around me, I can be inspired out of my blocks.
K.N. Johnson I'm working on a collection of my short stories for one full volume. I'm also working on a book of my recollections and photos from ghost investigations and legend trips.
K.N. Johnson Oh, the list keeps growing! I've a few Jacob Prytherch books on my list. Tranquility by Laurie Gardiner, Welcome to Parkview by Brian Paone, She Sleeps Well by Nicole Kobrowski, 13 Tales of Dark Fiction edited by Adam Bradley, Wonder by RJ Palacio. I just added the Close Enough to Kill series by Jacqueline Simon Gunn. And I hope to squeeze in the latest by Sarah Addison Allen to lighten things up a bit - her books are always fun!
