Usually, I take a long walk or organize my house. Other times, I like to wander around the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the IMA gardens, or a giant place called Midland Antiques. Sometimes, I read a book and am suddenly inspired by a plotting device that I hadn't considered for my story. By paying attention to the details around me, I can be inspired out of my blocks.
