Hi Abby,
I'm not sure which specific books you're referencing so in general, none of my books have sex/nudity in them, nor do they have vulgar language. There is some violence - along the lines of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings (think Orcs getting their heads chopped off). I wrote my science fiction and fantasy novels toward the YA audience, but interestingly enough, my reader demographics show more adults, both female and male, read my books than the YA crowd. I have a new novel titled, Slideout, that is a military/suspense thriller, and again it is clean. Thanks so much for your question. My best to you - Gary

I was thinking of writing a dragon story for my grand kids. Thought about doing something along the line of Walt Disney's "Pete's Dragons." Started researching about dragons and found a very interesting article about Chinese legend and lore on dragons. One small paragraph about how the Chinese believe that the rainbow that comes after a storm was carried into the sky by a "rainbow" dragon. From there, the story started to roll out in my head about dragons colored in rainbow colors.
