Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Gary J. Darby I was thinking of writing a dragon story for my grand kids. Thought about doing something along the line of Walt Disney's "Pete's Dragons." Started researching about dragons and found a very interesting article about Chinese legend and lore on dragons. One small paragraph about how the Chinese believe that the rainbow that comes after a storm was carried into the sky by a "rainbow" dragon. From there, the story started to roll out in my head about dragons colored in rainbow colors.
