Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Allie Slocum While meeting with the Focus Group for Rachel Landon, Feeling Abandoned: A Journey toward Forgiveness, a lot of the boys were really connecting with Peter so I decided his story would be next! Watch for it late fall 2020.

How do you get inspired to write?

Allie Slocum My dream to be an author started in 3rd grade. I wrote a whole series called "Love is..." on half sheets of paper, folded and stapled together. Fast forward 35 years and I wanted to do something special for the group of girls meeting at my house participating in a Character Club I'd created. They were about to head off to Middle School. I wrote Jeanie Blair, Author Extraordinaire as a "graduation" gift to them to help them remember the traits we studied together.
