I do! I love cooking. I’m well-known for my cinnamon rolls actually. My mom used to make overnight rolls when I was growing up. Hers are so much better than mine. Many of the recipes in the book are my own, like the peach breakfast puffs. Others are ideas I found in my research. You can find them on my Pinterest board for Set to Simmer. I like cooking, but my love is baking. I’m also a firm believer in growing my own food. Growing up most of my life in Sacramento, the farm to fork capitol of California, it’s no wonder some of that ended up in the book as well.

Being the end of 2019, I’m starting to plan for 2020. Im doing the final read through on “Babysitters & Bodyguards”, Lindy Johnson series book 5. It’s the concluding book in the Lindy Johnson series.
Fans of “Christmas with Granny McPherson” May be excited to know that I have a couple books from that world planned for that world. Not Brooke and Evan specifically, but a few people from his past. You might be interested to know that “Pre-Approved Identity Theft” also has a connection to Granny McPherson. Stay tuned, you’re gonna love this.
The final project I’ve been working on is called the Cartwright Ranch Series. Two sisters and a brother, three books total. It’s light romantic suspense, and clean romance. Kennedy the singer, Victoria, the cook, and Hudson, the dancer all make up the family running the ranch with their father Ace Cartwright. The whole family gets mixed up with a bad of criminals run by the elusive leader, The Dark Fox. It should prove to be a great debenture.

I was sitting in a doctor's clinic on one of those tables with the crinkly paper, and I was in the depths of a really dark time in my life. My health had taken a beating, and I was waiting for another doctor to tell me the same bleak news as the last one had. It was right about then that I looked up and saw the vent. Now, something you should know about me is that when my life gets really difficult, I slip into a character's life and live that for a month or two. There in that doctor's office I thought, what if a man fell out of that vent right there, what would I do? Believe it or not, that's how Nightwatch started, and it pulled me through some tough times because I had somewhere to escape and to cope.
