I am working on a fabulous story which was recorded in the 1930, by an old Irish Storyteller. It is deeply mystical and spiritual and I believe very ancient. It will be a ground breaking exposition, but it will take me quite a long time. It is a very long tales recorded over 3 nights I believe. The tale was given in the irish language but there is a translation into English in the original. One page Irish and the opposite page English.

Sufis use stories as teaching tales – what better way to learn than through a story, with all its layers and levels of meaning. At a Sufi retreat many years ago, our teacher Nawab, used an ancient Han Chinese story to demonstrate aspects of Service. I was fascinated that such an old tale, could hold spiritual truths, as relevant today as they were then. So, I asked Nawab to send me the story itself and worked with it using a Jungian framework. Thus began a long immersion into five fairy tales which have become the basis of my book.
