Frank David I haven't set my summer reading list yet but I believe it will be filled with Indie authors. I think it is important to support other Indies to help get their stories heard. I think a lot of people don't take Indie authors seriously or believe they may be less polished than traditionally published authors but this is just not so. Yes, there are some Indie authors who don't take the craft as seriously as they should but there are many more who do. They put so much time in trying to get their stories exposure, it takes dedication and perseverance.
Frank David Thank you for the question.

It would be a bit pretentious of me to say yes. But if I am to be completely honest, I have dreamed that one day the series would be made into a production of some type, but I think most authors have that dream. It would be grand if the series was so well received that someone in Hollywood or Broadway showed interest but it has only been out a few weeks and I have years of being a struggling author before I could even imagine it being considered, if ever.
Frank David I think the best part about being a writer is telling your story. You get to take people into your world and help them experience new adventures. I still have a day job and writing is a great escape from the stress of everyday life.
Frank David Fortunately, I haven't really had to deal with writer's block yet. I have struggled at times. When I experience a lack of words, I simply take a break. I leave the computer and I will just sit and veg in front of the TV or read a book. After a bit the words start coming again.
Frank David I am still an aspiring writer but I would say do it. Don't let anyone discourage you. We all have a story or two to tell. I think the most important thing is to write the story for yourself, not for possible success or glory. Success is a possible fringe benefit of writing and should not be the reason you write. You should write because you want to share something with others, not because you want a blockbuster movie deal. We can't all be Rowling or King.
Frank David I am working on book two of the Hulsteria Series, Making of a Warrior. This book picks up where Making of an Empress ends. It continues to follow Stela and her family. I don't want to say too much about it at this point because it will give away details of book one.
Frank David Honestly, I sit down and just start typing and let the ideas create themselves as I go. I turn on Selena Gomez (guilty pleasure) and just get to it. The first draft is always a mess as I don't focus on grammar or punctuation, that is for the second draft. I don't hinder myself.
Frank David Actually, the story has lived in my head for many years. The characters came to life when I was a teen growing up in Reading, Pennsylvania. I would walk past the old Victorian homes and the characters just sort of created themselves. Of course as I got older the characters changed a bit but their stories never left me and I figured it was time to share them with others.
